At the 2018 Paris Motor Show, Smart showed the Forease Concept. Now, the Smart Forease study is coming to Geneva, too, but with a twist and a new name: Forease +.

Last year Smart showed in Paris the Forease Concept, a study model based on the ForTwo Convertible that remotely reminded of the crazy Crossblade from 2001. Smart so brings the Forease Concept to the Geneva Motor Show, but now the car comes with a roof and modified wheels. The body is painted in silver while the roof is orange. The handles of the protoype are flush with the doors.

Mohamed Hossin Aminiyekta is the author of the Forease for the Geneva Motor Show.

Live from Paris – The smart forease concept

The remarkable low windscreen of the Forease is retained and the electric powertrain too. Gradually, Smart wants to phase out all its versions with a regular combustion engine.

Recently it was announced 2020 Smart version only available in the United States since last year. The EQ versions all have a 17.6 kWh battery pack. The range is approximately 155-160 kilometers.
