The Lunar New Year falls on this 5th of February. It is a significant event celebrated by millions of people around the world, and we met with some friends to see how they would launch the Year of the Pig. Ann Mah, a Chinese-American writer and author who lives between the US and France, remembers past New Year celebrations in Beijing – and the small but memorable cultural differences that developed from it.
